So basically GLEE is the best new show to come on TV in well a long time. It's so campy, cheesy, and just simply fantastic! It's not just about a singing Glee Club, it's about kids who just happen to sing. They don't randomly break out in song and I think that is what will keep it around. It's become a favorite of celebrities and all us regular folks too. No it's not a serious drama type show, but that's what makes it so lovable. Last night was the last show until the spring to make room for American Idol. It will be back in April. At least it's American Idol filling the void, because anything else and I think I'd be a bit more disappointed than I am. The standout star of the show is Rachel played by Lea Michele who gained acclaimed in Broadway's The Spring Awakening. Last night she was unbelievable in her solo in the sectionals competition singing Barbra Streisand's Don't Rain on My Parade. Here the clip from the fall finale.
Everyone should be watching Glee and if you haven't you have time now to catch up and watch episodes online. I promise you will laugh and smile and maybe even want to sing along.
